c1850 2nd Republic Seditious copper box medal with 7 miniature medals (missing 2) (Tribute to the Bourbons). This is the best republic, hd of Marianne/JUS DIVINIUM SALUS POPULI copper 82g, 56.5mm. Very interesting medal with screw thread closer (8.5mm thick). Contains medals of the elder branch of the Bourbons at 10.5mm surrounding a medal of Henry V. Only a few of the honorary box medal are known. VF. A complete set is currently offered on the internet for €1500 while another medal missing one small medals for sale for £495. Rated RR (very rare).
